WORLDWIDE INTERNET OF TRANSIT
The global postal network can move at the speed of trade again
The world’s largest cross-border delivery network was built in an era of bilateral exchange and slow moving rules. Regulation now changes in weeks. WIOT helps posts act at that speed, in the network and in the team.
An unmatched asset, held back by its architecture
Posts reach every address in 192 countries through more than 679,000 post offices and 4.6 million people. No integrator can match that reach. Yet the network was designed for settlement between posts, not for item-level commercial flows, and for a world where customs rules moved slowly and plans ran in years.
That world has gone. De minimis thresholds are falling, data obligations are rising and new measures arrive with short lead times. The UPU estimates that decisions taken late, or not at all, cost the postal sector around USD 70 billion a year.
